Question:

How old do my guppies have to be before they wont get eaten by the adults. read description for more question?

also if they are in a 35gal tank with 3 guppies and 3 other fish if i just take more food then usual and make smaller pieces that float to the bottom will that be enough to feed the fry? or is there another way (DRY FOOD FLAKES that is)

  1. If the tank is well planted and only has guppies then many of the fry will survive, and feeding with really fine ground food is OK. Dont overfeed, but grind it real rine, it takes the adults a while to find it then and the fry get some too.

    You dont say what the other fish are, but most other fish will eat, and actively hunt, for guppy fry. Very few survive in a community tank, unless it's packed with plants.

  3. they have to be about 1-2 months old and u should feed them tetramin baby food for the little fish it is basically ground flakes hope this helps u out  

  4. Assuming there are no other species of cannibalistic/aggressive

    fish in the tank, fry should be able to live with adult guppies

    when they are large enough so as not to be considered food,

    compared with the size of the adult guppies.

    No age can be specified since development in size varies.
