EDIT: I just did a quick search, as it turns out, if you're American and visiting the UK, you have to be 18 not 16.

I would have though 16, seeing as that's the age of consent here.  Not sure why the poster above say "18, you idiot" as it clearly isn't going to be a different age for tourists!
