well at some places its sixteen some 18 ive even ran into a couple of places you have to be 21 to buy!!! it all depends if people want to follow the law or s***w you over because your a kid.  i go t my BB gun at cabellas and it was fine (16) if anything bring you r mom or dad with you

And the answer is, it all depends on where you live.  Your city, county, and state laws dictate what age you have TO be TO purchase a bb gun or pellet gun.
