the minimum age at Starbucks is 16 ... a year ago, we hired two 16 years old baristas at my store! so it depends on the manager if s/he prefers 16 or 18 as min age!

sorry, I know nothing about caribou! in fact, i have never been to any caribou store yet :(

You have to be 16 at starbucks, but I hear they prefer 18 year olds. Starbucks is a pretty popular job and being a barista requires training- you have to be familiar with all the coffee beans and how to brew them right, know how to make every drink, so on.. and you must be accurate at these jobs, people are quick to criticize!

Same for Caribou. They say the minimum age is 16 but they tend to hire 18 year olds.

It's good to be a regular customer or know someone, getting a job is tough.
