i am twelve, and i am going to have to take a safety course [bcuse i obviously dont ahve my liscence] and they'll give you a liscence to drive them. twelve and up.

all states are different. For instance, NC you have to be 16 . TN you can get liscensed after a saftey course when you are 13. rentals are a different story as well. most will deffinately require a drivers liscense, some may require you to be 21. check your state wildlife agency laws.

Most rental places require a driver's license for all drivers since they are going to be....driving? Next question: how old to get a driver's license? Depends on state. I doubt any company is going to trust their a$$ets with a 12 year old unlicensed driver. Also, you need a credit card.

depends on state law.  most states require that an unlicensed driver - I'm assuming that would be you - pass a safety course.  rental companies require a driver's license and a major credit card and usually will not rent to anyone under 18.

It depends in which state you live in. I live in Illinois, and if you have a drivers liscence you can drive one w/o any extra requirements. When you are 13, you can take an only test, and if you pass it, they mail you a jet-skil liscence you can use until you get a drivers liscence.
