You start with your permit at 15.5

(1) go to DMV and pick up driver manual

(2) study

(3) go back and take the written test - pass

(4) with the learner's permit practice driving

(5) you might have to take the 5 hour class

(6) take the road test - pass

(7) be happy.

By the time you get your license you will be at least 16.
