How old do u have to be to get a tattoo in Ohio??

I live in new york and here u have to be 18 to get one even with parental permission. I knoe in P.A. u can get them ath 16. But im going on Vaca in Ohio and i really want to get one. Whats the age to get a tatto there????

eighteen but with a parents permission at sixteen you can.

18 but you can get one at 16 with parental permission. but I've seen people younger with tattoos here

The age limit for tattoos and piercings is the SAME IN ALL STATES...18 years of age.

The exception to this rule is that if you bring your parent or legal guardian, allong with your birthcertificate to verify your age, documentation to prove thier legal guardianship and responsability for you, and both you and your parent(s) have a picture ID, then parlours can pierce you anywhere (with the esception of genitals and female nipples, for which you must 18 and 16 respectively) at any age withint the range of 12/13 and up.  Understand that certain parlours refuse to pierce minors no matter the parental consent, for legal purposes.  

DO NOT TRUST ANY STUDIO WHO WILL PIERCE A MINOR WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION/ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT!  they are shady, and most likely illegal, and unclean, or just really suck at their job.

honey you have to be 18 anywhere in the US to get a tattoo at a proessinal studio. some places wont even do it if you DO have parental permission. but to answer your question, unless you have inside friends that do tats you have to be 18
