I don't know if they do it anymore, but I got my first back account when I was 16. It was a student savings account through Bank of America.

you can be any age but if you are under 18 your parents will be in control of it...putting money in taking it out...but if you are 18+ then you will be able to do whatever with your account/money

You need to be 18 but you can be less than that if your parent is willing to sign you up for one.

your parent can open an account "in trust" for you at any age. you would need permission or a second signature to draw out any funds.

18 to have one by yourself

Until you are 18, a parent or guardian must be co-owner of the account. I set all my sons up when they got jobs.
