How old do u have to be to work at mcdonalds in edmonton alberta?

12 years old !!! but you will just be most likely cleaning floors and tables

Yup you can be employed once you are 12 however, there are a few rules governing your employment.

1) You can't work during hours that you should (or are) be in school.

2) You can't work around dangerous equipment (including the fryers and stoves in McDonalds) - so as mentioned above, you would probably be doing lighter duties.

3)You can't work more than 2 hours on a school day and more than 8 hours on the weekend.

4) You can't work after 9:00pm and before 6:00 am...anyday!
