How old do u have to fill out paper's to adopt?

this is Dramacon1995 on her own acount not her sis's.... im 13..i know befor i adopt im going to go to college and get my master's and get marryed.... so how old do u have to be to start filling out paper's to get a home study then the one's for the child

reconsider your idea once you become older. WHen you are ready you will know that this is the time now. But it good to see a young person like yourself wanting to adopt. Good luck on your projects

You have to be old enough to adopt in order to fill out the "paper's".  Usually about 23 years of age.  But you also  have to be old enough to spell and use proper grammar.

Take this time and use it wisely.  Be a teenager, and live your life fully doing constructive, meaningful, generous things!  Read books, volunteer, study, give back to others, learn something new every week.  Get a great education, so you can support a child properly.  Then when you become an adult, consider adoption.

You can probably fill out the papers at age 18 but I don't know how far you can get. The adoption process can be very slow and vigorous. I believe that in the United States your placement on the list for upcomming children can be set back if you are able to have children, already have children, and are not married.

The requirement in the United States is 25.  Foreign countries have their own requirements, for instance China requires that both parents be 30 years old.  Some countries may require that atleast one parent be a certain age, etc.
