  1. How do you know she is a stray and hasn't just come separated from her owner? I suggest that rather than finding out how old she is you take her to be scanned in case she has a micro chip and try every effort to find her owner if she has one.

  2. you should report the dog to the rspca, there could be a family out there desperatly  missing that dog an you could be breaking a childs heart.if no one claims the dog then you can keep it, but it doesnt look like a stray to me. alot of dogs are chipped now so if someone recognised the dog you could be heading for heartache

  3. You can't keep this dog - its a pedigree and i bet it DEFINATELY has a home and a family that are missing it.

Look at her - she has even had her hair nice and groomed and everything.

Please try to find the owners with phone calls to the locals vets and dog pound and rspca to let them know you have found a dog.

Also put up posters in your local shops.

At a guess i'd say she was 4 or 5 due the the fact she is quite overweight.

  4. She don't look that old, she must be around 2-3, its so hard to tell.. but thats just my guess, as i could see her coat

  5. The way to show if a dog is young is by looking at the teeth. If they are very clean and sharp (not worn down) then she is a young dog of up to 2 years old.

You must first go to the vets and see if she is micro chipped for an owner might be looking for her and register as a stray so the original owner has a chance of re claiming her before you decide to keep her.

The dog will also need a health check. This breed is know for heart and breathing problems

  6. Someone is probably scouring the streets looking for her.

Leave a message at local vets, tell the police (not emergency number), even try asking local radio to put an announcement out.

If after all that no-one claims her, then you can think about keeping her for good.

  7. First of all there is probably a family out there who misses her dearly, just think how you would fell if your dog went missing an someone decided to keep her, an i think she looks about 6mths-1yr old.

  8. probly a year an a half or two years.

  9. If relevant where you are, have you checked to see if this stray is microchipped?

She will be missed so you do need to advertise her as having been found.

No idea about age from that photo.

  10. 2 and a half?

  11. Looks like a King Charles Spaniel and it looks like it has some age on it from this photo. Also I get the feeling its really your dog and is at least 5 years old.If its a found dog why are you not trying to find its owners? Tilks Mom

  12. Im Not a Big Fan Of Dogs But That One IS SOOOOOO Cuteee ;]

    I Would Say 1-2 Years ;]

  13. Aww.. she's so cute!!! lol..  I'd look around and see if anyone owns her first.. cuz the owner could really be missing this little dog... I'd say she's 3-4 years old.

  14. aaaawwww, she is soo cute! She looks like a cavalier king charles spaniel. It looks like this dog WOULD have a home. You should put up fliers, talk to the shelter, go on craigslist, saying you found this dog. I bet her true owners are looking for her! After 3 weeks, if no replies, you can keep her!

But, it is really not fair, to not try and find the dogs reall owners. I would have to day she looks 2-3 years old, Talk to your vet,

    Good Luck.

  15. There is no way to tell how old she is in this pic. Need to see her teeth. She is a cutie King Charles Spaniel.

  16. she looks about a year or two to me. :) x

  17. I want to say 3 or 4.
