  1. I believe you only have to be 16 yrs. and it depends on where you live to find out how much they usually start at.

  2. age 15. .. but i am not sure how much they make... if you go to the pool, they will tell you all the information. every place has different profits. good luck!

  3. It depends on the state and pool. Our pool you need to be 15 and over. And the money depends, ours is 7$/hr

  4. im a junior lifeguard cuz im in fifth grade

  5. 15 and i dont think they make that wuch in the summer but they make a little more in the winter

  6. well my friend works at hurricane harbor and he's a lifeguard and he's 16

  7. To become certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard, you need to be 15 by the last day of class.

It depends on the employer as to how old you must be to work there. Some places will hire 15 year olds. You must be 16 in some states to work as a water slide attendant. I've worked at pools that only hired 18 year olds as lifeguards.

The pay varies from state to state and also depends on what type of place you are working at. City recs and non-profit (YMCAs, etc) typically pay less. Private pools, colleges, and beaches usually pay well. Usually starting pay is $.50 to $1.00 more than minimum wage.

  8. For Red Cross certification, 15 is the minimum age.
