How old do you have to be a volunteer paramedic?

I am hoping to become a volunteer paramedic. I'm 17, so I was wondering if there was anything I could do? Ride alongs or what not.. so if anyone has any information I would really appreciate it. THANK YOU...

Different organizations have different age requirements when it comes to volunteers. So you will need to call the organization in your area that trains volunteer emergency responders and ask yourself. If you don't know who that is, call the local chapter of the American Red Cross. If they don't know, call your nearest volunteer fire station.
