How old do you have to be in order to become a single foster parent in Florida?

and also what are the requirements to become one, how much does it cost, how much would it cost to adopt from foster care, can you choose the children or do they assign them to you, and what is the first step you have to take (and i mean the very first) in order to become one? thanks for any info.

call your local social services, they will direct you to the foster care co-ordinator. Or on-line find the site for foster care in your state.  The very first step would be to call them and they will send you the application package.
