  1. 25 in most states, there are however, restrictions on some international adoptions now, that you have to be married, do your research. With domestic adoption, find a reputable agency and attend their prelim seminars, and , read, read, read!

  2. first, make sure you want two children. that is alot to handle, physically, emotionally, and financially.

second, few adoption agencies even talk to single parents.

my mom is a single parent.  she tried to adopt. the only children they disscussed with her were children with mental problems.

can you handle that? i think its great you want to give children a home.  but think this over!

i have no idea how old you have to be.

  3. It is not just about age.   It's about maturity, resourcefulness, and support.

Years of stable employment with very decent income

Years of stable friendships and family relationships

Years of stable living environment (a real home - no pillar to post)

Time - to spend teaching, playing, reading etc.

    No criminal history

    Medical insurance (must)

    This is just the beginning!

And, you usually have to be 25 ++.  You seem like you are a young teen -- so please, put your energy, time and motivation into YOU!

Get an education, grow up to be an adult, find yourself and then get to know yourself, go through relationships, mature, then think about parenthood!

  4. Age is probably 21 as for having a partner, it depends on the agency.  Some do single parents adoption

  5. in most states i know that you have to be 21 with or without your partner.
