How old do you have to be to attend a cosplay convention?

how old should you be? can kids attend? I'm 14 and my friend is 13, and we are intarested in attending a cosplay convention, but we need to know if there is an age limit and if there is a cost...???

    under 12 was free

    uhm......if you buy your tickets early its cheap o.O
