You gotta be 21 to work around alcohol like that.

   It's illegal for people under 21 to work around alcohol... that's why when you go to the store the younger cashiers can't check your cart out if you have alcohol in it.

However old you need to be to legally drink where you work.  In the States, that age is 18.
