My Mom told me kids cant even WALK into a casino? she said you have to be like 21 or something. I mean my freind is going to FoxWoods in Massachusetts and my mom said she wouldent be able to even WALK in...

Is this true?

Most casinos I've been to will let minors walk through the gaming area to get someplace else -- like to the restaurant, pool or theater.

If there's no pool, restaurant or theater, or if there's another way to get to them, they probably won't let you even walk through the area.

You won't be able to stand in the casino and watch someone else play. If you stop for more than a few seconds, someone will tell you to move along.

NO, so wrong, ur mother is probably doing this for the sake of our generation not being a gamble addict, anyone can go inside a casion as long as he or she is accompanied by an adult of 21 or older. Also, you cannot gamble until the age of 21.

Each state or province determines its own minimum age for gambling in a casino. Some have 2 minimum ages (18 in some casinos, 21 in others). Generally, you have to meet the age requirements to be in the gambling area, unless you are walking through to a restaurant, to guest rooms, restrooms, or kid's arcade, but you can not linger in the gaming area if you are under the minimum age. The casinos will fine a minor if he gets caught gambling, up to $10,000.

The rules are some what different depending on what state. In Nevada children are allowed to pass through the casino with an adult. They CANNOT stop to watch anyone gamble, they must keep moving.

In New Jersey (I'm told from a friend that worked there) children are not allowed in the casino for any reason.

I'm not sure what Connecticut rules are but they should be similar to one of the previous examples.
