How old do you have to be to buy a airsoft gun in Ohio?

Everyone says 18 but you have to be 18 to buy an airsoft gun alon but you can buy an airsoft gun at any age you just need a parent or guardian. honestly what i did a few times wen i was little was i would find some random guy and have him buy it and give him the money or  get an older friend.

Legally, you must be 18, although some places do sell to minors, especially if you are around 16 or so and capable of operating it maturely. Although I always thought the age was 18 for any gun, recently I went to ***** sporting goods and found a pistol for my begineer friend to try out. It had a low FPS and he had no trouble buying it, it didnt even have a age requirement sticker, which was on all the other guns. I have deduced from this that there is a fps limit at which only people over 18 can purchase a gun over the 250 fps range? Its something you may want to look into, but if you want a really nice gun you might want someone 18 or older to buy it for you or get the consent of a parent or guardian ( 250 is a piece of junk btw, unless its an un upgraded TM).
