As already mentioned by all the other posts, there is no set age. Even if you are 5 years old, you can go ahead and buy some.

They make excellent (but questionnable) water balloons.

And if you are going to use them for their intended purpose, good of you to be taking precautions.

lol.. condoms prevent babies & stds.. they're not life threatening products.. there's no particular age. but it does depend on maturity.. you asking this question tells me you need to wait.

There's no set age.  Anybody is entitled to buy condoms regardless of your age, mind you it might be a little bit weird if you were a little kid and you walked into the store and asked for condoms, people might get a bit suspicious.

Condoms are not drugs. They are to protect you from diseases if you are planning to have s*x, or to help prevent unwanted pregancy.

Guys should not be embarrassed to go in and buy a box of condoms once they reach the age where they may consider having relations with a partner, but I know how you feel. The first time I bought condoms, I was over 18, and I was so nervous someone would find out that I ended up going to a pharmacy that was about 80km away from my home, and bought about $50 worth of other stuff along with the trojans, just to kind of camouflage why I was there. (Funny thing was, I just bought them "in case" my date went a little further than anticipated, and they ended up not being used...go figure!)

Once you get over the initial fear of being caught doing something that your parents may not approve of, you should find it easier to do. Just remember that your parents probably would not be happy that you were sexually active, but they would probably be sadder if you accidentally get a girl pregnant, or if you catch some STD and have to go for treatment. You can at least tell them you were thinking ahead just in case "it" happens.
