How old do you have to be to buy paint markers?

You know those massive thick markers that look like extra large permanent markers except they have paint?

how old do you have to be to buy them?

  When you are dealing with a hobby shop and are buying a model they will normally sell you the glue and paints needed to make the kit.  If you are not known to them and are not buying a kit then the law takes a turn to not selling to the under 18 crowd to prevent tagging. This may not be fair but has become a part of life today so it is a good idea to become known bey your local hobby shop even if your not buying today.  then they know you and what you use the paint for. Then they are more likley to sell to you.

Well, I can state for a fact that in California it is 18.

Now let's research Australian anti-vandalism laws: Okay, I found an article from 2004 that stated it was NOT banned officially, but only asked retailers to restrict sales to minors.
