  2. Regardless of the sport you compete in, there is a sixteen year old age limit.

    There is no cap on age. You can be 60 and compete. But you have to be at least 16.

  5. Tom Daley from the UK was 14 in the Diving, so I think that 16 age limit probably only applies to gymnastics due to the health issues with forcing young girls to keep their weight down etc.

    You wont be developed enough to compete at the 100m until youre at least 18 anyway

  6. The 16 year age rule only applies to gymnastics.  There was an athlete at the games who was only 14, I believe he was the youngest athlete at these games.
