I think you're asking about stunt growth... coffee isn't good for anyone at any age because it does contain toxins that could become addictive (it is considered a drug) its just not illegal.

And the decaf is even worse because they use chemical process to make it decaf. Just like they use bleach to make white flour white!

As for it stunting your growth, doesn't every drug harm the body in some way whether you are 8 or 80?

not illegal, i had my first coffee when i was 10, it was decaf though and it is an occational treat, because it tastes soooo good! any age can enjoy coffee!! yay!! i still like it but only sometimes, and now I only like to get the cold ones from starbucks like java chip yum yum!

i would say about the age of 14.there is really no need for a child to drink coffee it has alot of caffeine and children have enough energy with out drinking coffee. my kids are 8 and 9 and i still don't let them drink soda..
