Age is 16 and yes you need parents permission! Do you realize that the only person you will be hurting is yourself and your future. Please reconsider quiting. It will have a negative impact on your future and any goals that you have set for yourself.

Most States it is 16 with parental consent. In Arkansas, where I live, you also lose your drivers license until age 18 if you drop out.

Doesn't matter.  Don't drop out.  You'll make a million more in your lifetime if you hold out a little bit more.
