It depends.  Some clubs will allow you if you are 18 until midnight.  There are actual under 21 clubs as well.

Definitely 21 if they're serving alcohol.  The South Side is a great place to go on a weekend night, but they card at the door almost everywhere.

Although I've never been there yet, I heard the Matrix is a great club to dance at...they have at least four different types of dance rooms (techno, rock, and some other ones I can't remember) Once again, you have to be 21 though.

Check out the cultural trust website...they have several listings in pittsburgh on jazz clubs that are for any age and are usually free...kick back and enjoy a concert or jam session!
