  1. 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000... years

  2. Passengers up from all ages can fly alone.

It's just the simple fact of, do you want your son to go, and do you think he's responsible enough to look after himself.

  3. I think the others are right, you can be of any age.

I just wanted to say, you realise your son and his mates are probably going to spend the week partying like mad, getting reasonably drunk (I won't say definitly wasted because I don't know them) and stuff like that?

But hey, if you're cool with that, I bet they'll have a great time. And if you're not cool with that, they'll probably do it anyway and have a great time anyway. Then again I don't know them, maybe they are serious and don't do that kind of thing.

  4. Yes he would be able to go - passengers can travel alone at any age.

  5. it's not the flying you should be concerned about, it's the being alone on holiday with his friends without a chaperone.  do you know what 17-yr-old boys are capable of doing when not supervised?  not a good idea my friend.

(when I was 21 I took a group of teenagers to Acapulco.  I was the chaperone - kind of like the blind leading the blind if you know what I mean.  fortunately they were very well behaved and we returned home unscathed, but the potential for disaster was everywhere and not least among the kids themselves.  they tend to run amok when parental restraints are removed.)
