How old do you have to be to gamble at a casino in New York State?

I just turned 18 yesterday. I was thinking about going to a local casino to gamble and play blackjack. I was wondering if Im old enough to gamble. Am i allowed to gamble at a casino in New York State at 18?

Also,,,,, if i am allowed to gamble, What game would have the best chance of winning?

They say that if your old enough to drink (beer/alcohol) your old enough to gamble in any way which also includes casino and the age of drinking is 21 if thats the age to drink legally then it means the age for a person to gamble is 21.
