I don't know what state your from but in Wisconsin you don't need a license to ride a four wheeler my buddy takes his eight year old trail riding all the time. But if you get a citation for breaking the trail laws it counts against your drivers license just like your driving a car so explain that one . So if your from Wisconsin get out there and break the rules before you get a drivers license

Depending on where you live usually you can get a four wheeler license at age 8, but once you get your driver's license there is no need for a four wheeler license also. I'd check your local laws to see what they require.
