  1. 13 years old with a parental co-signer.

    18 by yourself.

  2. If there is a age for a debit card it will be 13 I would of thought. If you are under the age of 16 / 18 you will require a parents to sign some of the the forms if you are applying for a Bank Debit Card. But some of the company's like http://splashplastic.com don't require a parents signature.

  3. Some banks do offer debit cards for children under 18, but the papers must be signed by the parents or tutors.

Normally in the country I live (Romania - Europe) you must be at least 18 to make yourself a debit card without depending on your parents or tutors.

  4. A FEW DAYS AGO I GOT THE CHASE HIGH SCHOOL CHECKING ACCOUNT FOR THOSE 13-17. IT IS LINKED TO A PARENTS ACCOUNT. MY PACKAGE COMES WITH A VISA CHECK CARD. THERE ARE NO SERVICE FEES. ALL THE RULES APPLY WITH THIS ACCOUNT EXCEPT IF YOU OVERDRAFT IT IS TAKEN FROM YOUR PARENTS. SO BE CAREFUL. IT CONVERTS TO A FREE CHECKING ACCOUNT WHEN YOU TURN 19.

  5. 16, as long as there are suficient funds in the account, no over-draft will be given either.

13 is correct for a hole-in the wall car but for a debit card, ie switch its 16

  6. I'm not sure but it's probably 13.

If you are under 18 though, you have to have a parent co-sign your bank account.

  7. You can be as young as 12 to get a debit card with Natwest.
