How old do you have to be to get a job in Australia?

im just wondering wen im legally allowed to get a job?!

 its 14 and 9 months; although you can get a younger then 14 with parental permission. your pay will probably be pretty low but if you want the job; money is money.

you have to be 14 and 9months but some places may let you volenteer at the age of 13 then start paying in out 6months

apparently, from what i have heard, you can legally get a job at 14 with a parent or guardians permission but many enployers would prefer to employ kids that are more mature, aka about 15 years of age.
if you really want a job before you are 14 and 9 months, the pay wont be as good and you are limited to the choices of work.

i think it is 14 and 9 months thats what people say but thats the legal age
but mainly part time, u can get a job as a cashier or fast food there is other job then fast food like the guy said above u can work at iga, woolworths, video easy.,clothing store ,kmart anything
