How old do you have to be to get a lip or nose piercing in the UK?

Or more specifically Northern Ireland. Maybe no difference there but some things are.

I know you have to be 16 with someone over 18 with you for tattooing, but minors can get their ears pierced after all...

body piercing is generally 18, although some places will allow it with a consenting adult.

it depends where u go

some places dont ask questions and it you look about 15/16 they'll probs just let you get it done if your parent have sayed you can get it done then just get them to come along then you'll defo get it  done

If you have a parent present then it's any age but it's over 16 with out permission.

i am in north east england, my friend got her nose pierced when she was 12.. i don't think it matters as long as you have someone with you over the age of 18 xx hope this helps xx

You HAVE to be 18 or over for a tattoo doesn't matter if a parent is with you or not. You have to be 16 for piercings without parental consent.

I thought it was 16 or 18 but i've heard a case where the parent has wrote down permission and they've got access to get it. Also ear piercings you have to keep a stud in yes.
