How old do you have to be to get cricket phone service???

I'm 17 now, and i pay for a prepaid but its so much cheaper for me to use Cricket (like $30)....so if i signed and got someone like my mom to co sign for me would that be ok?

and i could pay the bill myself with like a money order right? cause i dint have a credit card or anything like that...

Cupcakes you can go in and sign up yourself. Cricket doesnt require a SSN or Credit Check. It is pretty much a prepaid service and is very limited on their service areas. Check the coverage maps and make sure the places you live, work and play at are covered!

Yes you can pay with a money order by mailing it in or by stopping at a local store to pay the bill.

My son was 17 when he started a criket phone for his then girlfriend.... he said they didnt even ask for ID!  But he also mentioned if you dont pay the bill they are quick to disconnect and they dont do payment arrangements .. its pay up now .. all of it!
