How old do you have to be to get into professional motocross?

basically...what is the youngest you can be to be a professional motocross racer.

im almost positive its 16 but i could be wrong

It is generally a natural progression from Junior to Senior.  At 16 you can turn pro but you have to have the results to be pro and be entitled to race in the Pro lites and Pro open events.

The AMA has set a rule limiting the age tp 16 years old. You have to be at least 16 to race in the pro class of any AMA sanctioned events......

well you have to bee really good, but the youngest i've heard is 15 : )
