How old do you have to be to get laser eye surgery?

I am 16, and i had it a few weeks ago.  IDK if there is an age limit, you just have to be to fork out the cash.

My brother had it when he was either 4/5 if that helps. I don't think there is an age limit, unless maybe they have to be able to talk to be able to take a regular eye exam ;).

Normally, the legal requirement is 18 , but that doesn't mean it is advisable at that age.

The Clinics who know what they are doing will be sure that your vision has been stable for at least a year or more before doing it.

That  often is not until the mid 20's.

Technically you are supposed to be at least 18. Most reputable doctors will not do lasik on anyone that is younger than about 20. most will not do surgery unless the RX has been stable for at least 2 years and the person has stopped growing.
