How old do you have to be to get your driver's license without taking driver's ed?

in GEORGIA, I heard driving laws are different in every state.

In georgia, you can be 15 years of age, to get your learners permit.... You must have your learners permit for 1 year, minimum.... at the age of 18 you can get your "full" drivers liscense... there dont seem to be any rules reguarding drivers  education... as long as you have your 1 year mandatory permit and you are at least 16 you should be alright.
