  1. Airman Certificates, which is the correct term for what most people call "pilot's licenses," are issued by the Federal Government, rather than a state, and therefore the requirements are the same in every state.

You must be 16 to apply for a Student Pilot certificate and make a solo flight.  You must be 17 to apply for the Private Airman Certificate.

We recommend you finish Middle School first.  Your High School guidance counselor or military recruiter will help you plan your education for an aviation career.

    Good luck!

  2. your local airport will train you.. any one with a flight instructor rating.. recommend you purchase the kirshner student pilot manual.. sixteen years old.

  3. What airport are you close to?

Bridgewater State College has a good aviation program.

  4. Just like every other state

    17 to get your privates

    18 to get your commercial

    23 to get your ATP
