How old do you have to be to go clubbing in England?

A club I want to go to says you have to be 18, but is that to get in or to buy drinks? (As you can tell I don't normally go clubbing)

Yeah, 18 to get in and to buy drinks.  Some clubs are for over 21's but the majority are over 18 as thats the legal drinking age.

A regular club with alcohol and so on is aged 18. However, unlike the US we Brits suck at checking for ID. I have never been ID'd in my life - I started clubbing at 14 and I'm now 21. Basically, if you look old enough, it doesn't matter how old you are ...

Oh, and once you're in to an over 18s club, you won't get ID'd at the bar because they'll figure if needs be, you've been ID'd at the club entrance. Good luck! Be safe!

Yes you have to be 18, some clubs 21. Some open during the day for 16, 17 year old parties etc.
