How old do you have to be to go into nightclubs in France?

Is there an age limit on going into clubs? I'm pretty sure that you can't buy alcohol until you're sixteen, but they don't actually care about you drinking it. But what about nightclubs??

It was 18 when I was there and in the south of France (Monaco, Nice) they were really strict about age and checking IDs.

Officially 18. Bu if you're 16 and look 18, it should be okay.

In France you can vote, drive, get a credit card, go in night club (and drink...) when you are 18!!

I don't know how old are you but don't worry, you can go in night club before 18.

But you should to be well-dressed.
