I'm planning a cruise for me and my boyfriend for my eighteenth birthday, so it's 18, right? I've heard it's 18, but I just wanted to be sure.

Also, for two people on a 5 or 7 day cruise would be about how much? (oceanview room((second cheapest))

thanks!

  1. The minimum age for an unaccompanied minor on DCL is 18.  That means that both you and your boyfriend must be over 18 when you board the ship.  Anyone under the age of 18 not traveling with a parent/guardian must travel with an adult 21+ in the same cabin.  So make sure you are not planning on cruising before your actual birthday (unless your boyfriend is over 21).

Prices vary based on cruise dates, cabin accommodations, etc.  Once you are sure of your dates, you can check rates directly with the cruise line or at any number of online agencies, or land-based travel agencies.

    Enjoy your cruise!

  2. I believe you are correct that you must be 18 if traveling without a parent. But just to be sure, I would check out Disneycruise.com Also, as far as prices, we have always purchased our tickets through Expedia.com They are WAY cheaper than going through Disneycruise.com  When looking at prices, notice that depending on what month you go, the prices will vary greatly. We are going on our 2nd Disney cruise next week and we have done both trips during September because it happens to be the cheapest. So, we get a category 4 room on Deck 8 which is a deluxe family room with a balcony for 5 of us and it costs us around $2300 all together. Disney doesn't usually have 5 day cruises- they have 3, 4, or 7 day. The cheapest prices for the 7 day are around $1100 for the 1st 2 passengers for a balcony room. But again, to find out specific prices for when you want to travel, I would go onto Expedia.com They are very helpful too and we have never had any problems with them.

  3. I would call Disney Cruise lines and ask them the  age limits of passengers.

go on cruisecritic.com to find out more info.
