  1. There is no age limit on Track and field, there are limits on other sports though. Every sport is different with there rules in the olympics because each sport is run by a different group of people. for example you must be 16 to compete in gymnastics, and you must be 18 to compete in equestrian. But there is no age limit for track and field. It is very rare you will find someone under the age of 14 or 15 in the olympics though.

There is no 1600 in the olympics, just the 1500 and the qualifying time to get into the olympic trials is 3:39 for "A" and a 3:43 for "B" for the 800 1:46.50 is the qualifying time for "A" and 1:48.50 for "B".

"A" is an automatic qualifying time and if you make "B" that just means you are on standby. I hope that helps.

  2. okay, idk about the time one...but i'm pretty sure you have to be 15...even though a 14 year old gymnast made it in the there once...so either 14 or 15.

  3. i believe you have to be 16 in the US. for men, in the 800 i would guess around 1:45 for the 800 and 3:50 for the 1600.

you also have to qualify in the olympic trials in eugene oregon this summer which i think is from june 27 to july 5.
