how old do you have to be and do you get paid?

18 is the minimum age and they pretty much only accept people who have graduated from college or something similar.  They need people who have volunteer experience, which is why they do the whole college thing.    You get a monthly stipend which varies depending on where you are placed.  After you complete the two years you get 6,000 (ish) dollars, which is broken up, i believe into 3,000 as soon as you complete your mission and the rest a little while later.  I might be wrong on this last part.

You have to be at least 18 years old. You will get paid, but it's not very much - but if you're thinking about signing up for the Peace Corps, than that shouldn't really matter to you.
