How old do you have to be to learn to drive a trike in the UK?

We have been thinking of buying a trike and we need to know how old you would have to be to learn how to drive one and whether it depends on the cubic capacity (cc).

It depends what vehicle type category it appears in.

B - Car, need to be 17 with full licence

I think you could ride a trike on a CBT, it depends how powerful etc it is.

trikes can be ridden at the age of 17...as far as im aware there isnt a cc limit,so you can built/ride any size with l plates.

17 and depending  what engine the trike has u may need a car licence or a bike licence

Correct 17 because its considered a car technically ie no helmet and cc is therefore irrelevant.
