  1. I do not rent to anyone 25 or under.

  2. If you leave in san diego the college area some landlords will let you at the age of 19 with the idea that your going to the college sdsu.

  3. of legal age and maturity

    unless you're emancipated

but I won't rent to you unless you're of legal age and employed and exhibit maturity

  4. In Texas the age is 18. You can get someone to rent to you if you are below this age, but the lease agreement.is voidable at the minors discretion.

Emancipated, give me a break. It is very expensive and you have to prove that you are better offer by yourself than being with your parents.

The reality is that someone is going to rent to you if you 18 or older, have average credit or better and a job that pays you enough to afford the place you are going to live at. (Generally your Gross monthly income has to be 3 or 4 times the amount of your monthly rent)

    Good Luck!

  5. You must be of legal age (usually 18 years unless emancipated) and you must be employed or able to show that you will be able to afford the monthly rent. A credit check is also done most places and so if you are so young that you do not even have credit, chances are you may not be allowed to rent that apartment. If you are 18 or older but do not have a line of credit, often times they will ask that a co-signers name be on the lease. This makes that individual responsible for the rent should you default and/or not be able to pay for some reason. Good luck.
