There is no minimum age to own a BB gun. Also there is no legal way that someone would no. You dont have to register it. There might be some age limit to buying the gun that the store manages.

ummm i owned two when i was 7 years old

but becarefull i got shot once by a mistake and it went in my skin then i had to pull it out/ and stay away from eyes it could really do some damage if u hit it in the wrong place

but it also depends on the bullets too iguess

I got my first one when I was 7! There isn't an age limit on bb or pellet guns in the US.

There is no minimum age in the US, but the important thing is getting your parents to approve it. Take your time to explain that you will be careful, get trained on the proper safe use of the gun, and hopefully, you will convince them.

"Generally" speaking someone over 18YO will have to buy the BB gun. They can then give you the BB gun as a gift, at whatever age they feel you are ready for one.
