How old do you have to be to own a BB gun in New Hampshire

i am turning 14 on the 12th of august and i want a BB gun but my parents arent sure if its legal

there is no age limits as per NH state law, but federal law treats it as a firearm and you should be accompanied by an adult when using it.

"Generally" speaking, someone 18YO or older will have to buy the BB/pellet rifle. They can give it to you, at whatever age they feel you are ready.

If you have a little scrap lumber you can build a BB/Pellet trap for almost nothing. This makes it very handy if you live in town/city and still would like to shoot a lot.
