  1. 18. There isn't really anything on the state level when it comes to age restrictions except when it comes to supervision when hunting and the like.


  2. In canada, you can buy ammunition at age twelve as long as you have a POL posession only license. you can also legally use any gun at that age with a POL

    At 18 you can purchase any firearm except for automatic.

    You need to have your PAL posession and acquisition license, and you can also take your restricted license for a handgun (which can only be used in gun ranges)

    In the states as long as you are 18 and can prove it with a drivers license you can buy any rifle,

    and as long as you are 21 and can prove it with a drivers license you can buy a handgun

  3. not all states are 18 federal law says a gun dealer can not sell a long rifle to anyone under 18. But there are states that allow individuals to sell N.M. is one of them.

    It is unlawful for a parent to permit a child under 16 years of age to possess a firearm or air or BB gun except under the direct supervision of an adult.
