how old do you have to be to play in the us open?

because in a good tennis player but not that good but still i love waching it on tv.

17 by the end of the year...if your younger, you would compete in the juniors...minimal age for juniors in 14 by the end of they year,,,

it doesnt matter how old u r.......u just need to qualify......but usually people of age about 17 and over qualify...
