How old do you have to be to rent a motel/hotel?

my girlfriends and i just want to rent one in some city and just party in it lol jw? anyone know

It actually depends on the place you want to go.

Some places, you actually need to be 21 to rent a room.

If you are from the US you need a passport and to be 18. If you are Canadian, you'll just need an ID and a credit card. Some places make you be 25 to rent but those are usually condos and not simply hotel rooms.
