How old do you have to be to ride a mule in the south of France?

Whatever. As a young child you need someone to hold the mule's lead line, if you know how to ride and have the height for it get in the saddle. If you have a mid level riding degree, you can even take it outside the horse school on your own for a ride (that's an insurance thing). If you rent a mule for a backpack trek with the mule carrying the bags you're not suppose to ride it.

You've really made me curious. Not even a tiny little hint? :D
