  1. Solo?  On Amtrak?  Older than 15 you can travel by yourself, but you'll pay adult fare.  8-15, you need to follow special rules.

    I've seen babies on trains, I don't think there's any sort of age requirement.

  4. There is no age limit at the younger end which restricts one from riding a train. It is adviseable that youngsters always ride with parents or chaperones and never ride alone, especially with all the nuts who are loose today

  5. Depending on which country, Children as young as 1 year old to 11 years old can ride, providing they have adults with them.  As long as you feel comfortable on commuting all by yourself, I think you'll be ready to go out alone in a train.

  7. um...you can be any age...I dont think theres a required age for riding a train. Plus there are hundreds of train systems in the country and theyre all different.

  9. are you talking about your local light rail /rapid transit train or

    like amtrack?if your talking amtrack you need to call your local train station if you have one in your city and ask them about ages and rates .
